Reigntree Samoyeds began with dogs from John L. Donner, Sr., Donnereign Samoyeds.
Choosing this kennel name was to honor John's fine kennel and let others know that we were proud to be a 'branch' of Donnereign. John has been an excellent mentor for showing and foremost for careful breeding to obtain the best Samoyed possible. I have not seen anyone with more passion for this breed than John Donner. He has been extremely generous with his time, energy, and knowledge so that we could do well with the excellent dogs we got from him. It is because of all of this, that I have been active in the local SAMS club as Board Member at large, Secretary, SCA Liaison, and President for 3 years.

Dear John,

We wanted to let you know that Donnereign’s Odin King of Asgard, is doing just great! He’s been with our family for three weeks, and it’s already hard to remember our home without him. He has been easy to train, wonderful with our three young children (ages 7, 5 and 2) and friendly to everyone that comes and goes from our busy household.

We so appreciate all your help and wisdom in selecting our Sammy, John. Your experience and guidance as a breeder were invaluable to us. As you know, we had a very unfortunate experience with a breeder last year. Our experience with Donnereign certainly educated us about what dog buyers should expect from a professional, reputable breeder.

Happy Times Get Together During Sams Specialty Weekend

Hi John,

We've had a fantastic week with our new puppy, Keely. She had an uneventful ride home with us, and took to all of us from the start. She is so friendly with us, our kids, and our parents. I don't think she's had time to be too lonely, since she has hardly been alone at all, and the kids are spending a lot of time with her. She gets so excited when the boys come downstairs before school in the morning. She seems happy, and only goes out once during the night. We are crate training her, and it is coming along. She already knows the command, "sit", and we'll be signing her up for puppy training classes. Her personality is a good match for us, and she loves to cuddle and be by our side. She's just a beautiful dog, and we are enjoying having her in our home.
