Donnereign Samoyeds is a family project with three generations enjoying this wonderful breed. Over forty years of experience has resulted in over 60+ champions and many other top contenders. Puppies are born to a wealth of experience in many phases of dog related activity.
Donnereign Samoyeds are x-rayed to be proven free of Hip-Dysplasia prior to breeding. Yearly eye exams are done as well along with testing for cardiac issues, thyroid issues and anytime when there is a question of general health. All Donnereign puppies are veterinary examined for general health before sale, started on their shots and sold with a three year written guarantee. Full disclosure of the respective quality of the puppy is freely disclosed before point of sale.
Donnereign encourages responsible dog ownership. Buying any breed of dog is a committment you make for many years to come. Please think before you buy. As ethical breeders we sincerely want this to be a one time change of home for the puppy and that he should remain with you for his lifetime. We will required the new owners agree to inform us at any time there is a protracted emergency or irreconsilable issue that arises.
While our interest is most often focused on the show dog it is not just for winning sake. Breeding for the correct temperment is in my opinion the most important and first thing to be considered. If you have a trainable, intelligent, focused, quality dog there is no end to the number of things you can accomplish. The Samoyed needs a job to do and he is in his best form when busy with his owner whom he loves.
Attending dog shows is FUN! Once you learn the ropes be you an exhibitor or a spectator you will experience humor, elation, some dissappointment at times, but a wealth of knowledge pertaining to the dog world. Donnereign Samoyeds have excelled in Conformation competition, Obedience leaders as well and we cannot forget to mention our huge success and enjoyment of Agility. Ch. Donnereign Nakawes Taxiwa became the USA'S top winning Agility Samoyed in recent years. Also, a very successful breeding was accomplished with our Ch. Romance bred to the first Champion Agility Samoyed in Canada for the year 2002, namely Canadian Ch. Vanderbilt's Krash of Thunder, AM./Can. C.D. Watch for their sons Donnereign Reignin' Weather and his litter mate Donnereign Power and Torque in Conformation and Agility as well. Many of our dogs have also excelled in therapy and you may find a desire to share your dog with those in need of companionship.
